Kebbi Gov Reunites Five Rescued Children with Parents, Warns Against Child Trafficking
Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has reunited five underage children rescued from suspected human traffickers with their parents, following their interception while allegedly being trafficked from Kebbi South Senatorial District to Edo State.
The governor, represented by the Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, handed the rescued children over to their parents and warned parents against allowing strangers to take their children to unknown destinations under the guise of offeri

REJOINDER TO PRNIGERIA REPORT ON ALLEGED LACK OF SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES OF FALLEN POLICE EOD PERSONNEL
The attention of the Zamfara State Police Command has been drawn to a publication by PRNigeria titled, **“Experts Raise Alarm Over Lack of Support for Families of Officers Killed in Zamfara IED Blast,”** alleging that the families of three Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty were yet to receive any form of support from the Zamfara State Government.

Ant-banditry Operations: Police rescues 4 kidnapped victims in Zamfara
The Zamfara State Police Command has recorded another operational success in its sustained offensive against banditry, following the rescue of four kidnapped victims during a swift response by operatives of the Command's Violence Crime Response Unit (VCRU).

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has convened another emergency security meeting aimed at addressing emerging security challenges in some parts of Kebbi State.
Briefing journalists after the meeting, the Commissioner for Home Affairs and Internal Security, Hon. Haliru Wasagu, said the meeting was convened to review the current security situation, strengthen the state’s security architecture, and ensure the continued protection of lives and property across Kebbi State.

Residents of Randagi Community in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to the Inspector-General of Police and the Chief of Army Staff to order a thorough investigation into the recent violence at an artisanal gold mining site in the area.
