Troops arrest suspected foreign terrorist fighter, alleged illegal immigrant in Borno
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a man suspected to be a foreign terrorist fighter alongside a woman who claimed to be an illegal immigrant during a security operation in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspects were apprehended at about 11:48 a.m. on July 19 by troops of the 115 Task Force Battalion operating in the Lassa–Dilli general area.

Operation Hadin Kai foils mass abduction attempt at FGGC Monguno in Borno
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026.
