The political momentum ahead of the 2027 elections received another boost in Yola, prominent socio political group, Sa’ire Movement, formally declared support for the Adamawa State APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Tijjani Galadima, pledged to mobilise grassroots structure for his victory at the polls.
The occasion is held at the instance of the Movement’s Patron and Ambassador, Air Vice Marshal Sir Dahiru Sanda rtd, brought together prominent APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters in what became a strong demonstration of political solidarity ahead of lifting of ban on gubernatorial campaigns.
The Adamawa state All Progressive Congress (APC) Public Relations Officer (PRO), Dogo Victor PhD made this known in his in Yola the the state Capital saying that has signal support and success of Galadima and Tinibu in the 2027 general election.
Victor identified prominent at the gathering has the APC Southern Senatorial candidate, Hon. Felix Tangwumi; APC State Chairman, Hon. Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali; State Secretary, Comrade Mustapha Atiku Ribadu; State Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Sale Shelleng; State Publicity Secretary, Dogo Victor, Ph.D; Director-General of the APC gubernatorial campaign, Ambassador Kevin Peter; Hon. Hamisu Madugu, and other party stakeholders.
Responding the endorsement, Hon. Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali reminded supporters that gubernatorial campaigns were yet to formally commence, while urging members of the Movement to prepare themselves for extensive grassroots mobilisation once the campaign period begins.
“Yes, we are yet to commence gubernatorial campaigns, and I expect that when finally that is done, the Sa’ire Movement can properly campaign on the basis of their choice. We call on you as field men to be ready to reach every nook and cranny to deliver on your promise today.”
The APC Chairman further commended the consistency of the Sa’ire Movement for supporting the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, expressing confidence that the renewed commitment of the Movement under the guidance of Air Vice Marshal Dahiru Sanda rtd would further strengthen the APC ahead of 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the Movement, its Coordinator, Alhaji Aliyu Bello Ganye, said members remained fulfilled by their years of support for Governor Fintiri and had no regrets about standing with his leadership.
He pledged that, with the same spirit of consistency and under the guidance of the Movement’s Ambassador, Sa’ire would work tirelessly for an overwhelming APC victory from top to bottom, expressing confidence that victory would be achieved by the grace of God.
He said it was ultimately reflected the widening coalition of political and grassroots forces rallying behind Alhaji Tijjani Galadima as Adamawa moves closer to the 2027 campaign season.
As echoed by the APC State Chairman, one message continues to resonate across the state, the emerging political strength, unity and grassroots strategy of the new APC will make it increasingly difficult for the opposition to halt its march towards victory in 2027, Victor said.
