In recognition of his business contributions to the development of the community and Youth empowerment in the society, the North Central Journalists Forum (NCJF) has honoured and presented '2026 Humanitarian Services and Most Business Icon Award' to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Iggah Global Building Materials, Alhaji Jibrin Abu Suleiman, popularly known and called "Mutuwa Dole".
The Forum which has its members across the North Central States including Nasarawa, Benue, Kogi, Plateau,Niger, Kaduna and FCT, described Alhaji Jibrin Suleiman as a young business entrepreneur who has achieved greatly in a business sector.
Presenting the award on behalf of its members recently in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, the Coordinator of the Forum in Nasarawa State, Mr. Moses Yusuf explained that the award to Alhaji Suleiman was based on merit and his positive contribution to both human and infrastructural development in his Community, the state of Nasarawa and Nigeria at large.
"Alhaji Jibrin is an outstanding humanitarian interventions, commitment to job creation, and sustained empowerment of youths and women in Nasarawa State and beyond.
"Alhaji Jibrin and his company, Iggah Global Building Materials has made significant contributions to the development of the Nasarawa community by providing quality building materials, creating employment opportunities, and stimulating local economic activities." He added.
The Nasarawa State Coordinator expressed the Forum readiness to continue partnering and work with Alhaji Suleiman for both human and economic development of the state.
Mr Moses Yusuf who is also a Correspondent with Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) while commending the business mogul for using his resources to invest which he said has brought positive impact and reduce poverty to so many youths in the community, he also called on other business entrepreneurs in the country to borrow a leaf from Alhaji Jibrin Suleiman and put their resources into investment for the human, economic growth and social development of the country.
Responding after receiving the award, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Iggah Global Building Materials, Nasarawa State, Alhaji Jibrin Abu Suleiman expressed appreciation to the Forum for the recognition and his contributions he has made to his Community in terms of jobs creation and poverty reduction most especially to the young ones in the society, describing the honour as a motivation to intensify his efforts in serving humanity.
Alhaji Jibrin dedicated the award to God, to his family, to his Community, people of Nasarawa Local Government and the people of entire Nasarawa State. Assuring commitment to empower more young men and women through his business initiatives.
The Managing Director of the Iggah Global Building Materials while highlighting on the progress and the achievements recorded by his company in the last sixteen years,he noted that the building materials business investment which he started with small resources has now grown to a big company with many workers working under him.
According to him, " I can not give the total number of people who have directly or indirectly benefited since the establishment of the business, but all what i know not ten, not twenty but thousands of them". He said.
Alhaji Jibrin who believed that the desires of a man is quite different from the plan of God, as he never thought of becoming a business man one day. Saying that all his ambition was joint the Nigeria Army or a Tanker driver moving from one state to another, and his struggling to recruit into the Nigeria Army for good six times failed as God was planning my area of success.
"I went for Nigeria Army recruitment for good six times without success , i went for 66, 67,68, 69,70 and 71 Regular Nigeria Army recruitment without being recruited. I also went for Tanker driving and they told me they would get back to me once they are ready and i got angry i lost all the hope, not knowing that God was preparing a better food for me. All what i have to said is to thank God."Alhaji Jibrin said.
The business mogul when asked to whether he has the intention join politics one day, he said never at all,but believing in his business as the better option to take care of his family and assist other people in the society.
He also observed that for one to success in any business, you must have a mind of patient and endurance as sometimes there may be gain or lost.
The Chief Executive Officer of Iggah Global Building Materials while wishing and praying for the Emir of Nasarawa , His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin and other traditional Chiefs in the state for their good health and long life, he also prayed for the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. A.A Sule, the Nasarawa Local Government Area Chairman,Hon. Mahmood Hassan Ahmed among other political leaders in the state for God protection and wisdom in carrying out their duties effectively and to the economic growth of the state, and the country at large.
Alhaji Jibrin also prayed and seek for continued support and collaboration of all stakeholders to enable him expand his business across the state of Nasarawa and even beyond.
