The people's Democratic party (PDP) governatorial candidate in cross river Julius Udayi has reiterated that he is the only recognise as bonafide party governatorial candidate under people's Democratic party in cross river state from the Tanimu Turaki national chairman of the party.
Udayi stated this in a news conference in Calabar the cross river state capital penultimate Friday
He gave in instances “On this recent development, we decided once again to further set the narrative straight, as well as firmly hold that it is from Turaki led leadership which the court of appeal has adjusted to be the legitimate led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that Mr. Julius Udayi was nominated and presented as the bonafide Governoship candidate for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State as well as all other candidates of his team.” Udayi added
Further said its unfortunate the action and reaction of the federal Territory minister he said “Let us report that it's sad to say that the unwholesome activities of the Minister for Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, whose stooges headed by Senator/Prof.
Sandy Onoh are held-bent on disrupting the peace and tranquility prevalent in the State, by parading themselves as products of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from "Wike Faction." We must all know that Senator Sandy Onoh and his cohorts are not only frolicking, they are endangering the peace and order that have come to characterise our dear State.”he alleges

According to Udayi ,This act breeds indicators for outbreak of violence or is itself an act likely to cause breach of the peace in the state if not checked through proactively measures.
“We will like to warn that anyone who is against the Turaki Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is on his own or such person/group of persons are being used as guinea pigs for Presidential experimentation in Cross River State without more. It is already exposed that some of them are chief Protagonist in Wike's Play Book, and not howsoever in the interest of Cross River State. Their pursuit is nothing but for self enrichment and aggrandisement. A word is enough for the wise”
