The National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Alhaji Abubakar Garima Dakingari, has pledged the association’s support for the campaign activities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, in Kebbi State.
Alhaji Garima made the commitment on Friday when the Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, led a delegation of the Governor’s media aides on a courtesy visit to IPMAN office.
The IPMAN President said the association was prepared to provide free fuel to support the campaign activities, describing Governor Nasir Idris as a leader who has demonstrated commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Kebbi State.
He attributed the Governor’s growing popularity and acceptance among the people to his track record of achievements and his long-standing connection with the masses.
“I always tell people that Kaura Gwandu is the best option for them. We do not have anyone like him. We should allow him to continue with the good work he has been doing for the people of Kebbi State,” he said.
Alhaji Dakingari commended Governor Idris for his achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare delivery, human development and other critical sectors of the state’s economy.
He particularly praised the administration for its efforts to improve the living conditions of citizens and transform the state through people-oriented policies and development programmes.
Responding, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, said the purpose of the visit was to inform the IPMAN President about the achievements recorded by the present administration under the leadership of Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris.
The Commissioner said the administration had changed the development narrative of Kebbi State by delivering critical infrastructure and providing meaningful dividends of democracy to the people.
He stressed the Governor’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, noting that Governor Idris had prioritised peace, unity and development by putting political differences aside and working for the collective interest of the people.
“The Governor has touched the lives of the masses. He has changed the face of the state capital and is doing the same across the four Emirates of the state,” the Commissioner said.
The visit further underscored the growing support for the Nasir Idris administration and its development agenda ahead of the forthcoming political activities in Kebbi State.
