The Kebbi State Government has reiterated the importance of unity, reconciliation, and collective commitment among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 General Elections.
The State Special Adviser on Political Matters and Power, Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, made this known during a meeting with the State Executive Committee of the APC at the party’s State Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi.
Speaking during the meeting, the Special Adviser emphasized that unity remains the bedrock of the party’s continued success and urged members to strengthen their resolve in promoting peace, mutual respect, and cooperation at all levels.
He called on party members who were unsuccessful during previous primary elections to accept the outcome in good faith, trust in the will of Almighty Allah, and set aside all grievances in the overall interest of the party and Kebbi State.
According to him, lasting political success can only be achieved through forgiveness, reconciliation, and a shared commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant commended the Acting State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, and members of the State Executive Committee for their dedication, exemplary leadership, and sustained efforts toward maintaining cohesion within the party. He also offered prayers for the continued success of the APC in future electoral contests.
In his response, the Acting State Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, expressed appreciation to the Special Adviser for the visit and his words of encouragement. He reaffirmed the unity of the party and expressed confidence that the APC would record another resounding victory in the 2027 General Elections, by the grace of Almighty Allah.
The Acting Chairman also conveyed the appreciation of the party leadership to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for his unwavering support and commitment to strengthening the APC across the state.
He disclosed that the party leadership had successfully concluded a statewide tour of all the 21 Local Government Areas, describing the exercise as a significant step toward consolidating unity, enhancing grassroots engagement, and reinforcing the stability of the party.
The APC led Administration in Kebbi State, remains committed to promoting political harmony, inclusive governance, and sustainable development in the interest of all citizens.
