The APC candidate for Yabo-Shagari Federal Constituency, Prof. Musa Garba Maitafsir, has provided six trucks of grains for distribution to party supporters across the ten wards in Yabo Local Government Area.
This is in addition to N1 million for each of the ten wards. The grains include parboiled rice, maize and millet.
Speaking to our reporter on the development, the Media Aide to the candidate, Malami Umar Torankawa, said the gesture is aimed at providing relief to APC faithful across Yabo Local Government Area.
According to him, a special committee has been set up in each ward to ensure equitable distribution of the items.
Malami Umar Torankawa further explained that elders, women and youths will be considered in the distribution process.
He, however, called on those saddled with the responsibility of distributing the food items and cash to ensure justice and fairness in discharging their assignment.
He used the medium to call on the people of Yabo Local Government Area to continue to rally support for the APC and all its candidates in the forthcoming 2027 polls.
