The MYG Foundation in Zamfara State wishes to inform the general public, political stakeholders, party members, and the media that the name of the Accord governorship candidate for the 2027 General Elections, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba (Rtd.), is missing from the list published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Foundation wishes to clarify that the Accord has formally submitted a letter to INEC requesting the necessary correction and inclusion of its governorship candidate's name in the relevant official list.

In a statement signed by Hamisu Sharu Gusau, Coordinator, MYG Foundation, Zamfara State, it was established that, this omission is a matter of serious concern to the Foundation, its supporters, and stakeholders in the democratic process in Zamfara State. The Foundation believes that all electoral records and submissions should be handled transparently, fairly, and in accordance with the applicable electoral laws and procedures.

We therefore call on INEC to urgently investigate the matter, verify the party's records and submissions, and take the necessary corrective action in line with the relevant legal and electoral requirements.

The Accord in Zamfara State remains committed to democratic principles, the rule of law, peaceful political participation, and the conduct of free, fair, and credible elections.

We assure our members, supporters, and the general public that the matter is being followed up through the appropriate official channels. We remain hopeful that the Commission will address the issue promptly and provide the necessary clarification.

We appeal to the media, political stakeholders, and the general public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information while awaiting INEC's response and appropriate action.

The MYG Foundation reiterates its commitment to defending the legitimate democratic rights of the candidate and ensuring that all electoral matters are addressed transparently, fairly, and in accordance with the law.
