The new Commissioner, Professor Yahaya Zakari sworn-in by the Governor of Zamfara state Dr. Dauda Lawal as the new member of the state Executive council has assumed duty at the Ministry of Budget and Planning.

According to the statement, the appointment of the new Commissioner Professor Zakari followed by a swearing-in ceremony conducted on Tuesday to mark his formal reception into Zamfara state Executive council.
Announcing the development, the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, stated that Hon. Abdulmalik Gajam has been redeployed as the substantive Commissioner for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The Executive Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal directed the affected Commissioners to assume duty in their respective ministries with immediate effect.
He further charged them to apply renewed commitment, professionalism, and dedication in their new assignments in order enhance effective delivery of government policies and programmes in line with the administration’s Rescue Agenda.
