SUBJECT: ONE ZAMFARA — AN URGENT CALL FOR INCLUSION AND GRASSROOTS IMPACT
Your Excellency,
With utmost respect, I wish to draw your attention to an issue that deserves urgent consideration.
Your Excellency is the Governor of the entire Zamfara State, not the Governor of one or two Local Government Areas. The people across the remaining Local Government Areas are also waiting eagerly to hear, see and feel that they are fully included in your Rescue Mission.
Many citizens and stakeholders are looking forward to stronger grassroots engagement, visible development, improved welfare, recognition of committed stakeholders, and a government that reaches every community without exclusion.
I respectfully recommend:
- Stronger grassroots engagement from Local Government Areas to wards and polling units.
- Fair recognition and welfare for committed grassroots stakeholders who may feel neglected.
- Inclusive dialogue and reconciliation among different political tendencies and stakeholders.
- Regular performance monitoring of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, with measurable results.
- Greater visibility of government projects and achievements across all parts of the State.
- A responsive grievance mechanism through which citizens can communicate directly with government.
- Priority attention to issues affecting ordinary people, especially security, roads, healthcare, education, agriculture and employment.
A MESSAGE FROM THE GRASSROOTS
Your Excellency, the people are not merely waiting to hear about the Rescue Mission—they are waiting to see it, feel it and become part of it.
No Local Government Area, ward or community should feel forgotten.
The strength of the administration should be reflected across all 14 Local Government Areas of Zamfara State, because every citizen is entitled to feel that the government belongs to them.
I therefore respectfully appeal to Your Excellency to look beyond political boundaries and ensure that One Zamfara, One Government and One Inclusive Development Agenda becomes a visible reality.
The people are waiting. The grassroots are listening. The time for broader inclusion is now.
I respectfully submit this for Your Excellency’s urgent consideration and appropriate action.
