About 5,000 unclaimed drivers’ licences received from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC),by the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS).
In this development the PSIRS has announced that it will begin the distribution from Monday 13th to Friday from 8am to 5pm daily.
A statement was signed by the Head of Corporate Communications Department of PSIRS, Wulashik Lucius Dafaan and made it available to public, urged those who are yet to collect their driving license to take advantage of the exercise and collect their licences without delay.
According to him,the exercise is aimed at ensuring that all outstanding drivers’ licences are delivered to their rightful owners while encouraging applicants who have been waiting for their licences to visit the Service’s headquarters for collection.
It's also called on citizens of the State who have applied for their drivers’ licences but are yet to collect them to visit the PSIRS headquarters at No. 6 Bank Road, Jos, for immediate collection.
He explained that,the licences have remained unclaimed for some time and are now available for collection during official working hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
The also urged applicants who have applied to come along with a valid means of identification and any other relevant documents that may be required to verify their identity and facilitate a smooth collection process.
