The Director-General of the APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, alongside the Governors of Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States—Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), Dr. Ahmad Aliyu and Dr. Dauda Lawal—paid a courtesy visit to the Sultanate Council in Sokoto.

 

The delegation sought the prayers, royal blessing and fatherly guidance of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, as the APC begins broader mobilisation and stakeholder engagement ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

 

The Sultan welcomed the delegation and urged all political stakeholders to uphold peace, unity, mutual respect and responsible political engagement throughout the electoral process.

 

The engagement marks the beginning of wider mobilisation efforts in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC candidates nationwide
