The Osun State Government and the Presidency are reportedly working towards a negotiated settlement of the lingering local government crisis in the state, with a resolution expected before the 2027 general elections. Governor Ademola Adeleke today cast his vote at Ede for the governorship election, vowing to win the election with wide margins and accusing the Osun APC of writing fake results to replace official results. Speaking after voting at his polling unit, the governor said Osun APC has already lost the election, hence its concoction of fake results for swapping at the collation centre.
Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared Friday 14th of August as work free, to allow public service workers to participate in the Saturday governorship election.
